The Geoboard is a simple device for creating geometric shapes and relationships between areas and various shapes. Coloured elastic bands are stretched between pins standing up from a flat surface of the board. One side has rectangular pattern of pins and the opposite side has the circular pattern. Students learn the shapes and definitions of squares, rectangles, triangles, parallelograms, polygons, circles, chords, segments, sectors, quadrants, trapeziums and more. The circular patterns and geometric shapes are done on one side of the plate and the angular ones are done on the other side.
