A compact Multimeter for general purpose electrical work. Large digital display with the selected unit showing on the display as a confirmation and check for the user. Auto-ranging to always provide the most suitable range of the selected function. The function required of course must be selected but the range changing is automatic.
Display can be backlit by pressing button and the 9V battery is protected by an "Auto Power Off" function.
Ranges include AC and DC volts and amps to 10A. Ohms, capacitance, fequency, transister gain, microamps and milliamps. IEC uses this meter in one of its "Electricity Kits" used for teaching AC and DC electrical theory.
