This apparatus demonstrates how five different metals: Aluminum, brass, copper, nickel, and steel, conduct heat. The five rods are heated over a flame simultaneously, and students gauge what metal conducts heat best by observing how fast the wax at the tip of each rod melts.
The apparatus comes with all materials including a wax block and instructions.
