Magnetic demonstrator is a flat container of glycerine and iron powder about 150x80mm LxW. When shaken, the particles are distributed evenly throughout the glycerine. When a permanent or electromagnet is approached, the iron particles follow the pattern of the magnetic field around the magnet. The student sees the presence and the shape of the magnetic field. Being transparent, the demonstrator can be used on an overhead projector. Magnets are not included in the item. See also EM2066-101
