This robust IEC design is manufactured from non-magnetic materials. It is fully assembled and permits experiments relating to electric currents in a coil producing magnetic fields. Using the earth’s magnetic field as one of the fields, this instrument proves that m agnetic fields add as vectors and strength of a field in a coil is proportional to both t he current flowing through the coil and the number of turns in the coil. This is often called “Ampere Turns”.
