This old PSSC style 'Circular Motion' or 'Centripetal Force' system is normally performed outdoors. Please refer to MF0848-001 for a better system and far better accuracy. This PSSC kit consists of a glass handle (low friction) and a cord with weights (metal washers) and paper clip, rubber stopper, a wood dowel and an alligator clip. see the PDF file for more information and the experiment.
